woody harrelson?

At the moment I can only envision him playing Larry Flynt and am having a bit of trouble imagining him as Neo.
Anyways...my pick is Josh Hartnett! Or however you spell his name.

Dunno, Woody mighta worked. When I think of Woddy as NEO & (well, NOT Carrie Ann Moss) as TRINITY, visualize Mickey & Mallory battling sentient computer programs rather than being serial killers.

yeah... thats what gave me the idea....
i definitely think woody could do it, but i
dunno that carrie-anne moss could be trinity
(i didn't go so far as to think about female
replacements).
i think he could pull off the ass-kicking scenes
rather well.... but in as far as other aspects
of the matrix movie... woody would have to redo
most of the 'role'.
there are parts in the matrix that suit reeves
as he (to me) can play a natural dumbass rather
well (like when he was curious about the whole
matrix idea in the first movie)... so i don't
think that woody would play it like that.
but then again, woody is somewhat more bulkier
than reeves... which i think would compliment
fishborne easier... but make all of the opponents
look weak (so that would have to be changed some).
** as a side note, i also considered vin...
but like woody, i think the movie would have
a completely different 'mood' to it **

Vin is a shit actor.
I have yet to see a good movie with him in it.
I take that back, there are good movies, just he sucks as an actor.
I hate him. I could act as good as he could.
Pitch Black was okay with him in it... but once again, he said very little, and his role was gay.
Boiler Room... well, he played a pretty limited role, but even then... his acting was crude. I won't even comment on XXX and Fast and the Furious.

Vin Diesel is NOT an actor. He's a "movie-star". Keanu Reeves is still a "movie star" too, he hasn't graduated to "ACTOR" yet.
When an overpriced celeb 'star' learns how to play more than ONE cartoonish numbnuts character, MAYBE i'll call them an "actor".

I could see Robert Patrick as neo, maybe.
Or, for an interesting twist, make it a comedy and use Ice Cube.
